What we do
We organise collections of coats from groups and organisations, such as livestock markets, shoots, hunts, Young Farmer's Clubs, etc - groups who feel that this is a cause worth
supporting and have a coat or coats to spare.
(CountryCoats2Syria is not, generally, geared up to take coats from individuals. We mostly do not have the resources to have "walk in" collection centres - although if people would like to volunteer
one, we will put it on the map...)
It is humbling to think that a coat like this, just gathering dust since someone's grandchild grew out of it, could mean the difference between life and death for a small child in Syria this
winter.
How can we not help, when helping is so easy...?
